The acclaimed book by Michael Lewis, Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt was released in 2014 and spent four consecutive weeks at the top spot on the New York Times bestseller list. It focuses on the rise of high-frequency trading in the United States and the consequences of the race for speed in the stock markets. Brad Katsuyama left RBC after 12 years to launch IEX with eight other co-founders and advance a quest to level the playing field and fight against unfair advantages being sold to certain market players. This candid and forward-looking conversation with Katsuyama and Lewis will address evolving trends, challenges, and opportunities for disruption on Wall Street.
